The NBA history dates back to June 6, 1946 when it was founded as the Basket ball association of America. It was provided with the name National Basketball Association in the year 1949 after its merging with NBL.
In the year 1950, NBA had eleven franchises and saw the inclusion of other team mates who broke the colour code and saw various international players join the league.
The NBA logo history states that it was originally designed by Jerry Dior in the year 1968. Then slight changes were made to it.
It was then introduced as the official logo in the year 1971. When speaking about NBA champion history, Boston Celtics and Minneapolis or Los Angeles Lakers have won majority games; most of the year with 17 and 16 wins respectively. The latest 2012 champions were Seattle Supersonics.

The top scores in NBA history were scored by the Minneapolis Lakers in 2006 with 81 points and by San Antonio on 1st November 2012 with 86 points.
